Josef Hoflehner (born 1955) is an Austrian photographer known for his dramatic black-and-white landscape and subtle color images. He is also known for the "Jet Airliner" series,〔http://www.slate.com/blogs/behold/2014/06/03/josef_and_jakob_hoflehner_photograph_low_flying_airplanes_at_maho_beach.html〕〔http://www.weather.com/travel/scary-runway-forces-planes-land-close-beach-photos-20140618〕 which features mostly high-key photographs of low-flying passenger planes over a public beach on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten.
